Legendary reggae musician Ras Kimono passes away in Lagos after sudden illness

LEGENDARY Nigerian reggae musician Ukeleke Onwubuya popularly known as Ras Kimono has passed away at the age of 60 after suddenly becoming ill and being rushed to a Lagos hospital where he died.

 

Kimono, who became well known for the hit singles Under Pressure and We No Want, was scheduled to travel to the US yesterday night but complained of not feeling too well. He was rushed to a hospital in Ikeja, Lagos, then later taken to Lagoon Hospital on Lagos Island.

Lagos housewife asks court to dissolve her marriage because hubby made her sleep with Muslim cleric

LAGOS housewife Musilimotu Olashuyi has asked the Igando Customary Court to dissolve her four-year old marriage to her husband Gbenga after he conspired with a Muslim cleric to get the imam to sleep with her.

 

In a bizarre incident, Mrs Olashuyi approached the court, asking it to end her marriage, claiming that the cleric, known locally as an alfa, made love to her with her husband’s approval. She then begged the court to dissolve the marriage as she was no longer in love with her husband.
