SUPER Eagles goalkeeper Carl Ikeme has been diagnosed with an acute form of leukaemia after a series of medical tests carried out by his clubside Wolverhampton Warriors revealed that he has cancer of the blood.

Court orders Zamfara's Governor Yari to forfeit Paris Club refund used to pay off loan and build 100-room hotel

ZAMFARA State governor Abdulaziz Yari has been ordered to forfeit a combined sum of N500m (£1.2m) and $500,000 to the federal government by an Abuja court after he was adjudged to have appropriated money allocated to him as part of the Paris Club refund.

Women who have IVF face the risk of not getting pregnant if they take older men as partners

WOMEN who undergo fertility treatment and have IVF in the hope of having children in their older age face the risk of not being successful if their end up trying to procreate with older men.

 

According to the finding of a recent US study, the success rate of couples going through IVF is dependent on the age of the man and not just the woman. Older men were found to have a lower chances of conceiving than younger men with a female partner of the same age.
